Lidingöbanan

Saltsjöbanan
When you see the Saltsjöbanan for the first time, you will probably think the trains look familiar. And you will be right – they are old underground trains converted to serve the 15,000 or so passengers who commute from the seaside to the centre of Stockholm every day.

Tvärbanan
The Tvärbanan line opened in 2000 – a direct link between the west and south of the city which is also coordinated with the underground. Stockholm’s new tram system connects commuter trains, the underground and buses.

Lokaltog
Outside Copenhagen there are six local railway lines. Five of them used to be privately owned. In 2001 the local authority took over the railway lines, primarily to streamline operations and make them more efficient.

Trafikverket - NTL
At the end of 2015, we received out largest order to date for a subsystem to the national traffic management system for all of Sweden’s railways. Our customer is Alstom Transport and the end customer is the Swedish Transport Administration.

Cactus has been asked to develop and deliver a CTC (centralised traffic control) system for the extension and upgrading of the Haparanda Line in accordance with the ERTMS standard.

Cactus Rail has been awarded by the infrastructure manager Inlandsbanan AB to introduce a modern remotely operated traffic management system on a 110 km line.

Trafikverket - Fagersta
Trafikverket har tre pilotbanor för ERTMS-systemet samt två pilotanläggningar för det konventionella ATC-systemet. Ställverket i Fagersta är en sådan konventionell pilotanläggning och driftsattes med Hitachis system M11H och Cactus CTC

Jernhusen - Olskroken depå
Cactus has been awarded to develop a depot monitoring system for Jernhusen's depot in Olskroken. With RFID readers and tags, Cactus visualizes all train movements inside the depot and automates processes in the facility.
